MyBills Tracker only stores what the site needs to work: keeping you signed in and remembering your settings. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies today. We do count page views ourselves, without any cookie or anything that identifies you (the Privacy Policy lists exactly what). If we ever add them, they stay switched off until you allow them in Cookie settings.
In this policy, "cookies" means both cookies and browser storage: small pieces of information a website keeps on your device. MyBills Tracker uses browser storage (localStorage). It stays on your device and is not sent to other websites.
Every item below is essential: the site needs it to do what you asked. None of it is used to track you or to show ads.
| Name | What it does | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your account | Essential | Until you sign out |
finova-theme | Remembers light, dark or system theme | Essential | Until you clear it |
finova-currency | Remembers the currency you chose | Essential | Until you clear it |
finova-guest-budget | Keeps a budget made without an account on this device only | Essential | Until you clear it |
mbt-avatar | Shows your profile photo in the menu | Essential | Until you sign out |
mbt-consent | Remembers your cookie choices | Essential | Until you change or clear it |
No third-party analytics or advertising run today. Our own page count uses no cookie; if you switch analytics on, it also keeps a random number for the current tab only (in session storage, cleared when the tab closes) so pages per visit can be counted. In future we may add analytics (to see which pages help people) or advertising such as Google AdSense (to keep the planner free). If we do, we will first list them here with what they collect, and they will only load if you have allowed that category in Cookie settings. Apart from that tab number, those switches have no effect until then.
If you choose to sign in with Google or LinkedIn, you are briefly taken to their site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. We don't control those cookies and don't receive them.
Use Cookie settings, also linked at the bottom of every page. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings; that removes everything above, signs you out, and deletes any guest budget kept on that device.
Write to us through the contact page. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
